Simplex is one of the forms of communication of between both sides, where signal sent one way. This transmission method differs from the method full-duplex capable to send the signal and accept at the same time in one time, or half-duplexes capable to send the signal and accept the signal even do not in one time. Transmission by simplex is happened in some communications technology, like telecast or radio broadcast.
Transmission Simplex is not used in network communications because nodes in network generally require the communications in two directions. It is true, some communications in network, like video streaming, seen like simplex, but in fact communications traffic happened in two direction, more than anything else if protocol TCP which is used as protocol of coat transport.
